ThermoSafe Brands Europe holds grand opening of operations facility in Ireland

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, ILLINOIS – (June 29, 2010) ThermoSafe Brands Europe held a grand opening of its facility in Mallow, Cork, Ireland, on Tuesday, June 29th, 2010.
ThermoSafe Brands started operations in Europe last year in order to meet the needs of their multi-national customer base in the region. ThermoSafe Brands Europe manufactures and distributes a full line of products in the region, including ThermoSafe® insulated shippers, PolarPack® gels, U-tek® phase change materials, Nomadic® pre-qualified shippers, and the newly acquired GREENBOX™ Systems.
The Mallow facility recently began full production of the most popular ThermoSafe® PUR insulated shippers and plans to begin manufacturing ThermoSafe® foam bricks, later this year. PolarPack® gels have been manufactured on site since 2009.
“I am excited about the official opening of our European headquarters in Ireland,” said Colleen Bohn, President, ThermoSafe Brands. “Mallow’s manufacturing operation will allow ThermoSafe Brands to serve its customers more effectively, and with the same quality of products and services that is currently being offered in the US,” concluded Ms. Bohn.

ThermoSafe Brands Europe began operations last year with just eight employees on site, and plans to double that over the next twelve months. The ThermoSafe Brands’ Mallow facility is also an ISO 9001:2008 certified facility.
